I can share my computer screen with Google AI (Gemini)
Sounds kind of creepy, but it is really cool
I was watching this TikTok video about new developments in Google’s artificial intelligence, and at first, it felt a little creepy.
Why would I wanna share my screen with Google’s artificial intelligence program called Gemini?
Then I started to think about it. Why not? Google already knows everything about me. It reads all my emails, documents, and calendars, so what's the difference?
And then I thought what could I use it for?
Because it uses Gemini Live, I can use it to review documents I’m working on and have a real-time discussion. This means I can interrupt and engage in a regular conversation.
For example, I can chat about a lesson plan I already wrote, and my AI buddy (Gemini) can help me.
Same for students. Gemini can have a conversation with student writing or any other work they are doing on their laptop.
One of the coolest features is its ability to guide me when I’m working on something like a website or another program I don’t fully understand. I can ask Google Gemini questions, and it will tell me things like, “Click here” or “Do that,” while watching my actions to guide me step-by-step.
This makes learning a new program much easier since I don’t have to dig through a bunch of frustrating help files. Check it out!
